OUT OF CONTROL CRIME
I will push new laws to hold criminals accountable and support our brave first responders that put their lives on the line each day for you and me. Why aren’t drug dealers charged with murder if their sales lead to death? When organized groups loot stores, why isn’t it labeled organized crime? These are just two changes I will bring to the floor of the Assembly. I’ve seen politicians in Sacramento reduce penalties, putting us all at risk. It’s time to change that. I will call for this to END.
BURDENSOME TAXES AND PROTECTING TAXPAYERS
I’ll push for all taxes and fees to be audited and cut any wasteful spending to save you money. Despite some tax reforms, Sacramento politicians still rely on taxpayers to fund their agendas, with taxes on income, gas, and vehicle fees adding up. It’s time to cut the excessive spending that drives up our taxes and fuel costs, bringing them in line with the rest of the U.S. Government waste and overspending lead to higher taxes for all of us. Let’s make sure the government lives within its means
AGRICULTURE AND URBAN WATER SUPPLY, NO SUSTAINABLE WATER PLAN
Water is essential for our farms, businesses, and families, but not having enough is leading to lost jobs and higher priced food. I will push for the monies that have previously been allocated, to actually be used to increase our water supply and its efficient use. We need to fix the mismanagement of our water, and I’ll push for laws that unite agriculture, cities, and the environment. In the past, these groups only looked out for themselves, which got us nowhere. It’s time to make them work together to protect our water future. We need to stop sending needed water to the ocean. We need to develop new sources of water such as desalinization. We need to develop new storage facilities. We need to find actual solutions to this problem – not ones that have failed time and time again. The central valley and California were built on agriculture. In order for agriculture to thrive, we must insure a sustained water source.
PROTECTING OUR BORDERS FROM ILLEGAL INVASION
I believe the key to solving the border crisis is to create stronger incentives for legal immigration. At the same time, we must impose stricter consequences for those who cross illegally, as illegal immigration costs taxpayers billions of dollars each year. While it’s true we’re a nation of immigrants, it’s time to manage our borders and ensure safety. Even though most immigrants are only looking to improve their lives and attain the American dream, some are CRIMINALS. This is needed to maintain our resources like Medicare and also ensuring the safety of our communities.
ENERGY
The U.S. has plenty of energy resources, yet struggles to make it affordable for everyone. Burdensome taxes, strict regulations, and frivolous lawsuits block our ability to keep energy costs low. I’ll push for changes to make energy production simpler, cut reliance on foreign oil, and lower taxes, so Californians will no longer pay the highest fuel prices in the nation
QUALITY EDUCATION
I will strive to make the California education system number one in the country. I’ll not only ensure our youth excel in scholastic skills but also advocate for bringing vocational training back to our schools. In the 1970s, California was a leader in education, but now we rank 37th. With our youth being the future of California and the nation, this is unacceptable. We must emphasize teaching and developing our youth’s ability to think critically.
DEFENDING OUR 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS
As a lifelong firearms enthusiast, I’m dedicated to safeguarding your rights as a responsible, law-abiding citizen to keep and bear arms; whether it’s for hunting, self-defense, or simply enjoying a day at the range. Criminals don’t follow the law, so why do anti-gun politicians believe their legislation will curb criminal violence? I will fight to eliminate ineffective laws and bring laws based on common sense that will actually solve the criminal violence problem.
LACK OF REPRESENTATION IN SACRAMENTO
Ever listen to the news and wonder, ‘Who are these people supposed to be working for?’ I do. This is the big problem? Many politicians have forgotten they’re here to serve us, not boss us around. I promise to truly represent you, the people of California.
